FIVE THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW
1. South Dakota Mines has played well of late after struggling to start the season, playing in several close contests and notching a win against Fort Lewis before falling to CSU Pueblo in their most recent contest.
2. South Dakota Mines continues to shoot the three-ball well, now sitting in 5th in the RMAC, hitting 31.6% of their shots from distance.
3. Free throw percentage is another strength, as the Hardrockers hit 72.4% from the charity stripe to sit in 4th in the RMAC.
4. The Hardrockers have also done a good job in protecting the rim as they sit in the top half of the conference with 3.29 blocked shots per game.
5. South Dakota Mines trailed for a majority of the game against the Thunderwolves but continued to fight, giving themselves a chance to tie or win late, but could not capitalize.
