The South Dakota Mines track and field team received news that three Hardrockers were named All Academic honorees announced by the US Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) this past week.

Earning this award were Jared Wilson, Erica Keeble, and Jenna Sayler. They earned this award by having a qualified mark during the season and maintaining a 3.25 GPA. Both the men's and women's team were also recognized as a USTFCCCA All-Academic Team for having at least a minimum 3.0 GPA.

"Once again our student-athletes have demonstrated their commitment to success in the classroom," said head coach Steve Johnson. "The time and effort they put into their academics and sport is incredible and it's great to see them get recognized nationally for their achievements."
