RAPID CITY, S.D. --- The South Dakota Mines men's soccer team will head back to Colorado this weekend for a pair of Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference matchups before closing the season with three home contests.
The Hardrockers split games last weekend in Denver, Colorado, defeating Colorado Christian, 2-1, in double overtime during a non-conference bout that was also the season opener followed by a tough loss against MSU Denver, 1-0.
So far on the season,
Ransom Hall and
Philip Leano each earned goals while
George Martinez notched an assist. Leano and Martinez have both record six shots in the two games to lead the 'Rockers.
The 'Rockers were very competitive and hope to take that momentum into play this weekend.
First up on the schedule is University of Colorado Colorado Springs on Thursday. The Mountain Lions are 0-1 on the season, falling to CSU Pueblo, 0-4, as their only game so far this year.
Thursday's game is slated for a 5 p.m. start. Only a limited amount of fans will be allowed into the stadium, but the game will be streamed live on the Hardrocker Network at:
