RAPID CITY, S.D. --- It's finally soccer's turn to get in some competition during this COVID era and the South Dakota Mines men's team couldn't be more amped to get on the pitch as the Hardrockers will start their abbreviated season this weekend in Colorado.
SDM travels to Lakewood, Colorado, to face the Colorado Christian Cougars in a non-conference bout on Friday and then will challenge MSU Denver in Denver, Colorado on Sunday afternoon.
The Cougars are 4-0 on the season and have been playing since Feb. 20, all non-RMAC bouts. They defeated Colorado College, 3-2, defeated Regis University in double overtime, 2-1, and shut out both Tabor College (1-0) and Bethany College (2-0).
The Hardrockers will face CCU in an 11 a.m. start in Lakewood. The game will be streamed live on the Hardrocker Network by logging onto
