Chadron, NE --- The South Dakota Mines indoor track team was back at it again Saturday at Chadron State College in Chadron, NE. Competing today against the Hardrockers was CSC and Black Hills State University.
Senior
Erica Keeble was the highlight of the day earning an Automatic Qualifying jump in the pole vault as well as set a new meet and facility record. Keeble jumped 13-03.75 to win the event. Keeble also finished first in the 60-meter hurdles in a time of 9.56.
Lillian Knudtson won the mile run in a time of 6:17.01. In the long jump, Kathrine Mathieu took first place honors with a leap of 15-11.75.
On the men's side,
Andrew Ferris won the 800-meter run in a time of 1:59.81.
Taegen Wells crossed the finish line in first in the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 8.60.
Up next for the Hardrockers is the BHSU Event on Friday and Saturday February 12-13 in Spearfish, SD.
