COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. --- On Monday afternoon, the RMAC selected and announced its' player of the week selections for men's basketball
Kolten Mortensen was selected by the schools around the league as the honoree for RMAC Defensive Player of the Week.
Mortensen was a big factor in the Hardrockers wire-to-wire victory over Adams State on Saturday evening, recording 3 blocked shots and 9 defensive rebounds. These were crucial in turning into offensive momentum for the Hardrockers. Mortensen recorded a double-double in the contest with 12 total rebounds to go along with 10 points.
On the season Mortensen is averaging 15.2 points per game along with 8.2 rebounds.
