South Dakota School of Mines volleyball head coach Lauren Torvi has announced the dates for the programs 2020 summer camps.
Prospect Camp July 12-14
Grades 10-12
$275 for overnight
$225 for commuters
The Hardrocker Volleyball Prospect Camp is an advanced skills development camp designed for high level high school volleyball players entering grades 10-12. The camp is designed to emphasize individual position and skill training by the Hardrocker volleyball staff. Campers will have the opportunity to enhance their skills before entering competitive game training and play. The Prospect Camp aims to target all college bound volleyball athletes and give them the opportunity to learn more about South Dakota School of Mines and Technology as well as the recruiting process. Campus tours and admission meetings can be scheduled during the camp. All overnight campers will stay in the dorms and receive each meal. Commuters will receive lunch and dinner. Camp t-shirts and a tour to Mt. Rushmore is also included in the camp fee.
Fun facts about 2019 Prospect Camp: We had 50+ campers from over 12 states attend; All 5 of our incoming freshmen for the class of 2020 attended the 2019 Prospect Camp.
Skills Camp July 15-17

The Hardrocker Volleyball Skills camp is designed to improve skill level, enhance player development and build confidence in your ability. This camp is geared toward all students entering grades 6th - 9th in fall 2020. This is a fundamentals camp that will cover passing, setting, serving, hitting, blocking, digging, emergency skills, serve receive, defense, and game play. This camp is a great way to improve all volleyball skills and is excellent for beginners and players with limited experience. Camp t-shirts will be given to all skills campers!
Little Hardrockers Skills Camp
Grades K-5
9am-noon

This camp is designed to teach beginner skills to boys and girls either new to volleyball or wanting to learn more! Campers will cover all basic fundamentals of the game as well as lots of game play and opportunity to get reps. This camp is a great way to learn and improve volleyball skills and have fun with friends. All Campers will receive a t-shirt!
