RAPID CITY, S.D. – The South Dakota School of Mines women's volleyball program will be holding a number of team and individual skills camp this summer at the King Center in Rapid City, South Dakota.
SD Mines has the Hardrocker Team Camp set for June 21-22; the Hardrocker Prospect Camp slated for July 28-30 and the Hardrocker Skills Camp set for July 31 through Aug. 2.

The Hardrocker Team Camp ( June 21-22) is designed to give high school teams and coaches an opportunity to come together in a head start to volleyball season. The camp will allow teams to compete against other teams in the region in fun game-like situations and tournament-style play. 

Top teams will receive t-shirts. Teams are responsible for their team meals and overnight stays, although both can be arranged through the SD Mines volleyball program on campus.

Cost of the camp is $350 per team and $300 for each additional team. The head coach is free with a $25 fee for any additional assistant coaches.

On campus Dorms are also available for $40 a night (two-person rooms), and meals can be arranged through the dining hall.

The Hardrocker Volleyball Prospect Camp (July 28-30)  is an advanced skills development camp designed for high level high school volleyball players entering grades 10-12. The camp emphasizes individual position and skill training by the Hardrocker volleyball coaching staff.

Campers will have the opportunity to enhance their skills before entering competitive game training and play. The Prospect Camp aims to target all college-bound volleyball athletes and give them the opportunity to learn more about SD Mines as well as the recruiting process.

Campus tours and admission meetings can be scheduled during the camp and all overnight campers will stay in the dorms and receive each meal. Commuters will receive lunch and dinner. Camp t-shirts and a tour to Mt. Rushmore will also be included.
Cost of this camp is $200 for commuters and $250 for overnight campers.

 The Hardrocker Skills Camp (July 31 – Aug. 2)  is designed to improve skill level, enhance player development and build confidence in each athlete's ability. This camp is geared toward al students entering grades K-9.
This is a fundamentals camp that will cover passing, setting, serving, hitting, blocking, digging, emergency skills, serve receive, defense and game play.

This camp is a great way to improve all volleyball skills and is excellent for beginners and players with limited experience. Camp t-shirts will be given to all skills campers.

Price of this camp is $100 per camper.
