The South Dakota School of Mines soccer team will wrap up conference play this weekend in their final home matches of the season.
 
The Hardrockers look to bounce back from a tough weekend of competition in Colorado. The 'Rockers have posted 12 goals on the season while averaging 8 shots per game. Brenden Sherwin currently leads all Hardrockers with 3 goals and 1 assist. George Martinez leads in shots with 32 on the season. The 3 goalkeepers that the Hardrockers have played over the course of the season have collected 86 saves with a save percentage of 66 percent.
 
Friday afternoon they will square off will Colorado School of Mines at 2pm. The match will be held at Sioux Park Stadium. The Orediggers are coming off of a 1-1 weekend where they topped Colorado Mesa and fell to Fort Lewis in overtime. They are 11-3-2 on the season while having a conference record of 9-1-2. Colorado Mines has scored 30 goas this season while averaging 18.3 shots per game. Jason Zobott and Ben Overhold lead the Orediggers in goals scored. Drew Johnson, the Oredigger goalkeeper, has tallied 47 saves this season, good for a 79% save percentage.
 
At 1:30pm on Sunday afternoon, the 'Rockers will face the UCCS Cougars at Dakota Fields. The Cougars are coming off a 0-1 weekend as they fell to MSU Denver and had their match against CCU postponed. The Cougars are 5-8-1 overall and 4-7 in conference play. They have tallied 22 goals on the season while averaging 15 shots per game. UCCS is led by Alex VonHolle who as netted 6 goals and 7 assists this season. In the goal for the Cougar, Scott Jensen has captured 41 saves while averaging a 63% save percentage.
