Box Score DENVER, Colo. --- The South Dakota School of Mines men's soccer team went up against nationally ranked Regis University Friday afternoon during a Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference game in Denver, Colo. Regis notched its first goal during the 14
th minute when Jacob Lever delivered a shot into the net off an assist from Porter Milner. RU's Joe Mansfield added another goal just before the half to put SD Mines in a 0-2 hole at the 42.47 mark. Mansfield added the final goal for the Rangers in the 67

"This is the first time where I think we got outplayed in all aspects throughout the entire game," said Hardrocker soccer head coach
Jordan Kadlec. "Any time you get the opportunity to play the No. 10 team in the country, you have to come ready to compete. We didn't do that whatsoever today and got punished."

Erik Fenske, freshman
David Grifo and sophomore
Noah McKenzie both had one shot.
This week's RMAC Goalkeeper of the Week, sophomore
Jack Seifert, had another great effort for the Hardrockers, recording five saves Friday and sophomore Kyle Dolovich had two saves replacing Seifert at halftime.
"Regis was the better team today and showed us why they are ranked where they are," Kadlec said. "Now the challenge is to figure out how we recover from today and come back prepared to fight and battle every time we step on the field."
The Rangers remain unbeaten on the year, posting a 6-0 overall record and 3-0 mark in the RMAC, while the Hardrockers have yet to win a game, with a 0-6 overall record and 0-3 mark in the RMAC.
Next up the Hardrockers will face Colorado Mesa on Sunday in Grand Junction, Colo., in a 12 p.m. RMAC matchup.
