Garrett Snook

Garrett Snook was named Director of Performance at South Dakota Mines in August of 2023 and is in his first year on staff.

ACCOMPLISHMENTS
  • Along with co-director of performance, Ben Servais, oversees all of the South Dakota Mines strength and conditioning (performance) programs.
  • Primary sports for Snook are men’s basketball, volleyball, track, cross country and golf.
  • From 2021-2023, Snook was an assistant strength and conditioning coach at Black Hills State University, after serving as an intern at the same institution.
  • Prior to Black Hills State, Snook was an instructor at the Hot Room in Spearfish and with Montument Health.
  • Snook began his career working with Physio Performance with post 320 baseball and Rapid City Stevens High School.
  • Co-Owner & Strength and Conditioning Coach at Melius Motion.
  • Snook has eanred a bachelor’s degree (2020), while expecting to earn a master’s degree (2024).
