Biography
Accomplishments
- Holds the #5 Hardrocker top-10 mark in the indoor weight throw.
- 2x RMAC Outdoor Track & Field All-Academic - Honor Roll (2022, 2023).
2023 Outdoor (Sophomore):
- Competed in shot put, discus and hammer throw.
- Best finish of the season came in the hammer throw at the Loper Invitational, finishing third with a 41.76m throw.
- Totaled three top-10 finishes (Hammer throw – twice, discus).
2022-23 Indoor (Sophomore):
- Threw weight at eight meets.
- Set the #5 Hardrocker top-10 mark in the indoor weight throw at the Stinger Open (15.13m).
- Finished the season with four top-5s and six top-10s.
- Qualified for the RMAC Championships.
2022 Outdoor (Freshman):
- Competed in the javelin (once), hammer (six times) and discus (five times).
- Finished in the top-10 three times (hammer – twice, discus).
2021-22 Indoor (Freshman):
- Competed in the weight throw (seven times) and the shot put.
- Recorded four top-10 finishes in weight throw.
- Qualified for the RMAC Championships in weight throw.
Prior to South Dakota Mines:
- Committed to Dakota State University to play volleyball out of high school.
- Transferred to South Dakota Mines following freshman season.
High School:
- Attended Montrose High School.
- Was a multi-sport athlete, also participating in volleyball.
- Team captain of the track & field team.
- Named to Academic All-Conference and All-State teams.
Personal:
- Daughter of Alan and Janel.
- Has one sibling (Micah).
- Majoring in pre-professional health sciences.
