Alyssa Egan comes to SD Mines after completing her Masters of Science in Athletic Training from Xavier University. At Xavier, Eagen was responsible for providing care for the athletes on the baseball and women’s basketball teams. In addition to her experience within the Xavier athletic department, she also garnished clinical experience at the Beacon Orthopedics and Sports Medicine Clinic, Cincinnati Children’s Hospital, and Sycamore High School. Eagen completed her Bachelors of Science in Physical Education from Black Hills State University in 2017.
“I graduated with my Masters of Professional Sciences in Athletic Training from Xavier University in May of 2019. I spent the majority of my clinical hours with Xavier University women’s basketball and local high schools in the area. I received my Bachelors of Science in Physical Education & Health from Black Hills State University in 2017. I am very excited to be back in the Black Hills after some time in the big city of Cincinnati, OH. I am looking forward to hiking, snowboarding, and seeing a lot more of my family. I look forward to building a community here in Rapid City at South Dakota School of Mines & Technology," Egan said.
