Garrett Kull

Originally from Prattville, Alabama, Kull comes to Rapid City after serving as an assistant men's soccer coach for the past two seasons for the Schreiner University Mountaineers located in Kerrville, Texas.
 
Kull graduated with a bachelor's degree in Sports Management from Huntingdon College (Ala.) in 2018 and played for the Hawks as a goalkeeper and defender. During his junior year he also served as a student assistant working with the team's goalkeepers.
 
During his time with the Mountaineers, the staff oversaw the introduction of more than 20 freshmen to the program in two years. Kull, served as the lead goalkeeper coach with two different goalkeepers finishing in the Top 3 in the SCAC conference for total saves. During his tenure, two players were named as honorary mention to the All-SCAC team and one named SCAC Character and Community Male Student Athlete of the Week.
 
While in Texas, Kull also served as the Head Boys' Varsity Soccer Coach at Our Lady of the Hills Regional Catholic School. Over his two seasons at the helm, Kull led the Hawks to an above .500 record, his first being the team's first in three years; back-to-back playoff berths; and twelve players received post season awards.
 
Kull began his coaching career as the assistant boys' varsity soccer coach at Trinity Presbyterian School in Montgomery, AL for three seasons. Kull was responsible for leading sessions and the development of both the varsity and junior varsity goalkeepers. The Wildcats in those three seasons made playoffs all three seasons; won an area championship; had a player named to the
 
Montgomery All-Metro Team, five more named as honorable mentions including two different
goalkeepers; and a player played in the Alabama North-South All-star Game.
 
Kull is a recent recipient of the USSF D license and holds multiple certifications through the United Soccer Coaches.
