2019-20: Appeared in 21 games with 17 starts while averaging 17.4 minutes per game … Finished the season with 116 points (5.5pg), 36 rebounds (1.7pg), 32 assists (1.5pg), 14 steals, and 3 blocks  … Season-best performance of 12 points (including 3-for-5 from long range) and 3 rebounds in only 20 minutes of play at NM Highlands (1/25).
 
High School: Team Captain, All-Conference, Academic All-State, First Team Tri-Valley, Northern Colorado All-Star Selection, All-State Honorable Mention, Started all 4 years.
 
Personal: Daughter of Kristi Hensley and Jim Meis. Has nine siblings (Garrett, Neil, Mackenzy, Josh, Allie, Hannah, Landon, Abbi, and Riley). Her hobbies outside of basketball are biking, exploring, doodling, and music… Majoring in Biomedical Engineering with career aspirations of being a surgeon… Syd’s favorite quote is “Best is yet to come”
