SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – South Dakota Mines Golf had one their best performances of the season at the Augustana Spring Invite on Monday, highlighted by a third-place performance for the men and fifth for the women.
Tyler White and
Ramey Lloyd both picked up seventh place after shooting a 149 in two rounds. White shot a 71 in round two, while Lloyd recorded a 72 in the first round.
Brycen Farris' 150 put him in 10
th place, while
Matai Naqica put up a 152 for 16
th.
Isaac Schmidt and
Owen Jorgenson finished in 28
th,
Cole Thompson collected 32
nd,
Alex Makarchuk placed 40
th and
Caeden Ekroth rounded out the Rockers with 49
th.
In total, the Hardrocker men shot a 598 to finish tied for third with Sioux Falls. Augustana and Umary both finished tied for first place.
Kenzie Schroeder highlighted for the women's team with seventh place. She shot a 156 for the Rockers.
Alison Kennedy recorded 21
st with a 162, while
Marin Keller's 168 placed her in 37
th.
Addiley Lloyd picked up 49
th,
Lora Ortega collected 52
nd,
Portia Lenczowski finished in 54
th and
Taylor Ullen recorded 55
th.
The women's team shot a 662 for sixth place out of 12 teams. Concordia-St. Paul won the invitational, followed by Sioux Falls and Augustana.
What's Next
The Hardrocker will host the Texas Roadhouse Spring Invite on Apr. 13-14 at the Golf Club at Red Rock. The RMAC Championship is scheduled for Apr. 19-21 in Boulder City, Nevada.
