BISMARCK, N.D. – Tyler White highlighted South Dakota Mines Men's Golf's sixth place performance at the Marauders Invitational this week.
South Dakota Mines recorded a 310 score in the first round. White picked up a 73 to lead the way for the Rockers. He had three birdies in the round.
Andrew Sinar's 77 was the second-best score for the Hardrockers, while
Isaac Schmidt collected a 78.
Ryan Ewoniuk picked up an 82.
In the second round, the Rockers shot a 307 collectively. White led the Hardrockers with a 73, highlighted with three birdies. Sinar shot a 75, Ewoniuk put up a 77 and
Alex Makarchuk rounded out the top four with his 82.
White recorded fourth place for the Hardrockers with his score of 146. Sinar placed 22
nd, while
Michael Skimel recorded 32
nd and
Owen Jorgenson placed 34
th as individuals. Ewoniuk finished in 41
st, Schmidt finished in 53
rd and Makarchuk was behind him in 54
th. As an individual,
Hayden Overfield rounded out the Hardrockers in 59
th.
For White, it is his best placement since his second-place finish at the Texas Roadhouse Spring Invite last season in Rapid City.
What's Next
South Dakota Mines will stay on the road as they go to Billings, Montana, for the Yellowjacket Fall Invite from Oct. 4-6 at Lake Hills Golf Club. The Rockers close out the fall with the Hardrocker Fall Invite on Oct. 12-13.
