EDMOND, Okla. – South Dakota Mines Men's Golf completed the Oak Tree Invitational with 16
th place.
Hosted by Oklahoma Christian, the field of 18 teams had six teams ranked in the top 50 on Scoreboard.
As a team, the Hardrockers shot a collective 319 in the first round.
Tyler White led the way with a 76, while
Brycen Farris recorded a 79.
Isaac Schmidt picked up an 81 and Alex Makarchuck rounded out the top four with his 83.
The Rockers improved by three strokes with a combined 316. Farris had the best round of the tournament with his 75. Owen Jorgensen shot a 77 and White picked up a 79. Schmidt shot an 85 in the second round.
Farris finished the week in 37
th with his 154. His 75 in the second round was the seventh-best score in the tournament. White was second on the team and 47
th in the field with a 155.
South Dakota Mines finished 16
th out of 18 teams in the field.
What's Next
The Hardrocker men are back in action on Mar. 30-31 at the Sam Proal Invite in Pueblo, Colorado. The Augustana Spring Invite is scheduled for Apr. 6-7 at Elmwood Golf Club.
