RAPID CITY, S.D. – South Dakota Mines Men's Basketball is ready for their final regular season road trip of the season at New Mexico Highlands and Fort Lewis this weekend.
Series History
All-time against New Mexico Highlands, the Hardrockers are 3-11. The Cowboys have won three of the last four games. The last Rockers win came on Feb. 26, 2022, in Las Vegas, New Mexico. The Hardrockers are 2-4 all-time on the road against the Cowboys.
Fort Lewis holds an 11-3 all-time record against South Dakota Mines. The Skyhawks defeated the Hardrockers 86-81 on Jan. 15 at the King Center. They have won seven straight games, with the last Rockers win on Jan. 4, 2022. The Rockers are 2-4 all-time in Durango.
About the Cowboys
New Mexico Highlands sits three games above South Dakota Mines with a 11-16 overall record and 9-7 RMAC record. They have won three of their last four games, including 93-88 overtime victory over (RV) Fort Lewis on Feb. 7. Last weekend, they defeated Westminster but fell to Colorado Mesa.
