RAPID CITY, SD – South Dakota Mines Golf is playing at The Homestake Invite this week, hosted by the Hardrockers and Black Hills State.
The Hardrockers last competed at the Travis Roy Memorial Invite. The men's and women's teams both picked up 10
th place at Powder Horn Golf Club.
South Dakota Mines is hosting the men's side of The Homestake Invite. They are joined by Dickinson State, Central Wyoming and Montana State-Billings.
They will send out
Brycen Farris,
Ramey Lloyd,
Tyler White, Issac Schmidt and
Matai Naqica on the "Gold" team. The Hardrockers will also field a "Navy" team of
Carter Hillukka,
Leo Daiss,
Andrew Sinar, Caeden Ekorth and
Owen Jorgenson.
Cole Thompson,
Alex Makarchuk and
Hayden Overfield will compete as individuals.
On the women's side, Black Hills State is hosting South Dakota Mines, Montana State-Billings, Eastern Wyoming, Central Wyoming, Nebraska Kearney and Dickinson State.
The Hardrockers field will include
Kenzie Schroeder,
Alison Kennedy,
Addiley Lloyd,
Marin Keller and Portia Lencwowski.
Avery Ellis,
Kaliyah Watson and
Taylor Ullen will play as individuals for South Dakota Mines.
Teams will start at 10 a.m. on both Monday and Tuesday.
What's Next
Both teams will head to the Yellowjacket Fall Invitational on Oct. 6-7 in Billings, Montana. Before that, the men's team plays at the Marauder Invite on Sept. 29-30 in Bismarck, North Dakota.
