GREENWOOD, Ind. – On Tuesday afternoon, College Sports Communicators (CSC) announced its academic all-district teams for men's basketball.
The 2024‐25 Academic All‐District® Men's Basketball Team, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognizes the nation's top student‐athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom.
Keagen Smith earned the honor, following up a First Team RMAC All-Academic selection, while
Guillem Garcia,
Abel Hutchinson, and
Guido Wanschelbaum earned the honor following RMAC Honor Roll selections.
To be eligible for the all-district team, student-athletes must have completed at least the past 12 months at their current institution, must have a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.50, and must be a starter or a key reserve. Schools are allowed a maximum of four players on the Academic All-District team.
Smith wraps up his South Dakota Mines career with his third All-District selection after being an All-RMAC Academic honoree four times.
Garcia, Hutchinson, and Wanschelbaum were selected for the first time.
