Lee Awarded RMAC Offensive Player of the Week Honors

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Jason Lee has been awarded the RMAC Men's Basketball Offensive Player of the Week award after a historic game against Black Hills State.

Jason Lee erupted for 42 points last Tuesday against Black Hills State. He was 13-for-27 from the field, 3-for-7 from deep and 13-for-16 from the free throw line against the Yellow Jackets. He also added two rebounds, two assists and one block in that game. His 42 points was the second-most by an NCAA DII player this season.

He followed that up with a 19-point performance at Chadron State on Saturday. Against the Eagles, he was 6-for-16 from the field. He also added five rebounds, five steals and one assist.

Lee is third in the RMAC in points per game (18.8), first in assists (51), second in assists per game (5.7), first in steals (21) and second in minutes played (318).

He is the first South Dakota Mines player to win an Offensive Player of the Week award since Alejandro Roma won the award on Dec. 4, 2023.

What's Next

The Hardrockers are back home this week for two more RMAC matchups. They will take on Colorado Christian on Dec. 11 at 7:30 p.m., followed by a contest with CSU Pueblo on Dec. 13 at 3 p.m.
