Series History
Minot State holds a 25-20 all-time record against South Dakota Mines. The Beavers have won six of the last seven matchups against the Hardrockers. The last Hardrocker win came was a 63-53 win on Feb. 11, 2012, at the King Center.
About the Beavers
The Beavers are 2-5 overall and 0-1 in the NSIC this season. After starting the season 0-4, Minot State defeated MSU Billings and Bismarck State. They dropped their first NSIC contest against UMary on Nov. 25. The Marauders won 82-69 over the Beavers.
Maya Aguilar leads the Beavers with 13.7 points per game and 7.6 rebounds per game this season. She had 14 points and eight rebounds against UMary. Taryn Hamling is behind her with 13 points per game for the Beavers. Minot State was picked ninth in the NSIC Preseason Poll.
About the Hardrockers
South Dakota Mines comes back home with a 1-4 overall record. After losing to both Sioux Falls and Northern State at the USF Classic last weekend, the Hardrockers fell to Colorado State in an exhibition game on Nov. 25. The last Hardrocker win came on Nov. 19 against Nebraska Wesleyan, where the Hardrockers won 57-45 at the King Center.
Savea Mansfield is first on the team with 12.8 points per game and a 42.3% field goal percentage.
Morning Grace Spotted Bear is averaging 11.6 points and 6.4 rebounds per game for the Hardrockers.
Addison Miranda is shooting 41.5% from three-point range through five contests. South Dakota Mines was picked 11
