BISMARCK, ND – South Dakota Mines Men's Golf picked up seventh place out of 14 teams at the Marauder Invite this week.
As a team, the Hardrockers shot +16 on day one.
Ramey Lloyd led the way for South Dakota Mines with a 73 in the first round. He recorded two birdies and one eagle.
Tyler White was right behind him with a 74 in the round. White picked up three birdies.
Carter Hillukka shot a 77 and
Brycen Farris collected an 80 for the Hardrockers.
On day two, South Dakota Mines shot +24 to finish in seventh place out of 14 teams. Farris had a round to remember in the second round. His five birdies helped him shoot a 71 and finish in 14
th place. White also finished in 14
th with his 77 in the second round. Lloyd's 80 placed him in 23
rd overall.
Hillukka recorded 53
rd, while
Isaac Schmidt ended his week in 65
th. As individuals,
Leo Daiss placed 57
th,
Andrew Sinar recorded 59
th and
Hayden Overfield picked up 70
th.
The Hardrockers finished just behind Minot State in sixth. Augustana won the Marauder Invite by 10 strokes. MSU-Billings took second and Sioux Falls picked up third.
What's Next
South Dakota Mines is back in action next week at the Yellowjacket Fall Invitational on Oct. 6-7. They will close out the fall season on Oct. 13-14 at the Briarwood Shootout.
