RAPID CITY, S.D. – The South Dakota Mines men's golf team is back in action twice over the next few days as they start their season on Friday.
Coming off a fall season in which the program has continued to improve, the Hardrockers are looking to take the next step forward this spring and that starts with the Falcon Lakes Invite on Friday hosted by MidAmerican Nazarene University in Basehor, Kansas.
The competition will include 10 teams, including two from MidAmerica Nazarene and South Dakota Mines. The remaining teams are Augustana University, Bellevue University, Iowa Western Community College, Metropolitan Community College, University of Minnesota – Crookston, Park University and Washburn University.
The six players on the trip for the Hardrockers are
Joseph Vincent,
Braydon Jones,
Supawich Boonta,
Brycen Farris and
Ramey Lloyd.
In the first tournament, the Hardrocker lineup will include the former five names, while Lloyd will play as an individual.
A shotgun start will begin at 8:30 a.m.
