Connor Taylor and Henry Dryden Earn D2CCA Honors

GOLDEN, Colo. – The All-Super Region 4 Football teams were announced on Thursday morning, and the Hardrockers earned spots on the team.

After a third winning season in four years, the Hardrockers continue with positives.

Two of the team's bright spots this year were Connor Taylor and Henry Dryden. Based on their performances over the 2023 season, they have earned spots on the D2CCA All-Super Region 4 team.

Taylor was named to the first team, while Dryden earned second team honors for the second consecutive season.

These two athletes are the fifth and sixth players in program history to be honored on the D2CCA Super Region list, with Dryden also earning the honor following the 2023 season.

Connor Taylor has had a phenomenal career with the Hardrockers and has the stats to show it. He set school records for field goals made in a career, points in a career, and longest punts and tied the school record for field goals made in a season this year with 13.

Not typically a punter, Taylor added punting duties this season and was one of the top punters in the RMAC, earning Honorable Mention All-RMAC there in addition to the first team selection as kicker. Overall, Taylor made 13-17 field goals and 36-38 PATs, averaging 44.13 yards per punt and downing 16 inside the 20. The D2CCA selection is the first all-region selection of Taylor's career.

Henry Dryden has been a top tight end in the RMAC and the region for two years. After earning the honor in 2023, Dryden posted similar numbers in 2024 despite missing a game. Overall, he recorded 35 catches for 297 yards and six touchdowns.\
