RAPID CITY, S.D. --- The Hardrocker golf teams wrapped up play on day 2 and round 2 of the Hardrocker Fall Invite on Tuesday at the Golf Club at Red Rock.
The two teams wrapped up a great final day as the Women were able to pick up the victory and the men were able to post a much-improved round 2 to move up the leaderboard.
The women saw great individual performances from returners and freshmen alike.
Annika Schooler finished in a tie for first, posting a +10, 154, while freshman
Kenzie Schroeder finished in 3rd place with a 158 (+14).
Rianna Garland finished in a tie for 7th, posting a two-round score of 163 and finishing +19.
Allison Kahler finished in 9th with a score of 164 and +20.
Addiley Lloyd, (t11, +22),
Lora Ortega (t16, +16),
Mya Maxwell (18, +28), and
Kyra Allen (19, +30) rounded out the top 20 for the Hardrocker women.
Taylor Ullen finished with a 191.
As a team, the Women's A team shot +33 and +37 in rounds 1 and 2 to run away with a 20-stroke victory. The B team took home a fifth-place finish.
The men's A team was able to improve upon its round 1 performance, posting a 10-stroke improvement for a +20 on the final day to post a +50 overall, also moving up to third on the leaderboard, while the B team finished in 5th with a +65 over the two rounds.
The lone top-five finisher for the men was
Ramey Lloyd who posted a sterling 69 in round 1 and followed it up with a 77 for a +2 to finish in fifth.
Joseph Vincent took 10th after posing a +9, 153 over the two rounds.
Tyler White (15, +12),
Braydon Jones (17, +14), and
Supawich Boonta (20, +16) also placed in the top 20.
Brycen Farris,
Everette Carroll, and
Caeden Ekroth finished close together with Farris finishing at +18 and the other two posting +19.
Alex Makarchuk and
Jack Sabetti finished 29 and 31-over while
Logun Mason shot 194.
UP NEXT
The Hardrocker women don't have much of a break as they head out to Salt Lake City, Utah to play in the Westminster Wasatch Invite starting Sunday, Sept. 25, while the men have an extended break, not playing until the Yellowjacket Invite hosted by MSU Billings from Monday, Oct. 16-17.
