NORMAN, Okla. --- The Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) announced its team academic honors on Thursday morning and South Dakota Mines men's golf team was honored.
The GCAA honors teams with a Presidents Special Recognition (3.5+ GPA) and All-Academic Teams (3.0 GPA).
There were 20 Division II teams selected for Presidents Special Recognition and South Dakota Mines was one of them.
The Hardrocker male golfers obtained a 3.42 GPA in the fall and a 3.604 spring GPA to combine for a full year cumulative of 3.549.
