RAPID CITY, S.D. --- The South Dakota Mines men's basketball program has officially announced the signing of four men who will join the roster for the 2023-24 season. Head coach
Eric Glenn has announced the signings of Cameron Cohn, Ethan Bruns, Guido Wanschelbaum, and Guillem Garcia.

In this class, the Hardrockers have added size and experience.
Cameron Cohn is a junior who most recently played at Santa Monica College but played his first two years at Division I, Fordham University. In the most recent season, Cohn averaged 9.6 points per game along with 3.1 rebounds and 2.9 assists at Santa Monica in 20 games played and 17 starts. Out of high school, Cohn has significant accolades, averaging 23+ points per game on 45% shooting from three and 19.2 points per game as a junior. Cohn was a top-100 player in Texas and was a First Team All-State selection, in addition to District MVP. Cohn hails from Houston, Texas, and Second Baptist School. Cohn plans to major in Science, Technology, and Society.
Ethan Bruns, a South Dakota native joins the roster from Sioux Falls, South Dakota. A wing, Bruns earned the following accolades on the court as a member of Sioux Falls Christian: First Team All-Conference, First Team All-State, and All-State Tournament Team. Bruns also earned all-conference accolades as a member of the track & field team.
Guido Wanschelbaum hails from Argentina and played at prep school ISA Academy for the past two years. At ISA, Wanschelbaum was a two-time all-conference selection.
Guillem Garcia is another international add, originally hailing from Barcelona, Spain. In his lone season at Northern New Mexico College in 2022-23, Garcia is credited with playing in 16 games, starting 11 and averaging 9.2 points per game, and 4.9 rebounds per game on shooting percentages of .451/.370 from the field and three-point range.
The men's basketball team opens its 2023-24 season on Nov. 10 at home in a matchup with Texas A&M-Kingsville in the Howard Johnson Conference Challenge.
