COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. --- On Wednesday afternoon, the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference announced its Men's Golf All-Academic teams.

The qualifications to be named to the first team are that the student-athlete must complete two consecutive semesters at the institution, use a season of eligibility, and have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5. For the honor roll selections, the minimum GPA is 3.3.

Coming off winning the RMAC Men's Golf Summit Award,
Braydon Jones was selected to the first team after holding a perfect GPA as an electrical engineering major. Jones has had success beyond the classroom, in 8 tournaments this year, Jones recorded 3 top-30 finishes, including 2 top-10's.

Everette Carrol,
Jake Francis,
Ben Macy,
Carson McDaniel and
Joseph Vincent were named to the honor roll.

Carrol, a Harlon, Iowa native is majoring in Mining Engineering. Carrol played in five tournaments, averaging 80.5 strokes per round.

Jake Francis, senior from Watkins, Colorado has had a large effect on the team, ending his career with the most rounds player (85) in school history.
Â
Macy, a sophomore hailing from Wellsburg, Iowa and majoring in metallurgical engineering competed in one tournament this season.
Â
Carson McDaniel will graduate with a mining engineering degree. McDaniel competed in 58 rounds in his time at South Dakota Mines.

Joseph Vincent is a junior and holds many career and season records already as a part of the golf program. Vincent is from Austin, Texas and is a biomechanical engineering major.
