BOULDER CITY, Nev. --- The South Dakota Mines golf teams finished up at the RMAC Championships on Tuesday.

The Men's team finished its round with a 324 to shoot 926 overall and finish in ninth place.
Joseph Vincent led the men from the start, shooting 71, 72, and 75 to finish in a tie for 22nd.
Jake Francis finished in 40th after shooting back-to-back 79s to end with 234 strokes,
Roger Nakagawa and
Braydon Jones finished shortly behind, shooting 236 and 239 to end in a tie for 41st and 43rd.
Carson McDaniel wrapped up in 45th with an 86 to total 247 strokes.

The women played well throughout the tournament, setting records for lowest strokes in 36 holes (631) and lowest strokes in 54 holes (953). The latter shattered the previous record by 31 strokes.
Annika Schooler also set the school record for lowest strokes in 54 holes. In the final round the women moved up two spots on the leaderboard to finish seventh as a team, the best finish at the RMAC Championships in school history.

Rianna Garland finished in the top-10 to become just the second and third South Dakota Mines women's golfers to do so at the RMAC Championships, and first since the first year of the tournament in 2017. Schooler finished in a tie for 7th, shooting a 229 which set the new school record. Garland shot a 230 to finish in a tie for 9th.
Lora Ortega shot an 80 in round 3, finishing in 25th with a 341 three-round total.
Mya Maxwell finished her tournament with an 89, while
Jessalyn Shipp shot a 100 to wrap up the tournament.

Overall, the Hardrockers wrapped up their 2022-23 season as arguably the best in program history, setting 7 new individual school records in rounds/tournaments, 6 team round/tournament records, a new coaching record, winning three tournaments as a team as well as 4 individual titles in addition to several new career records and season records.
