PUEBLO, Colo. --- The South Dakota Mines men's golf team played two rounds at the Southern Colorado Masters hosted by Colorado State University Pueblo on Monday. 10 teams competed at the tournament with several of them being regional teams.

The Hardrockers performed well overall, shooting 586 as a team through 36 holes, the second-best 36-hole total in school history. In the first round, they shot a 295, followed by a second-round 291 to finish day 1 in 7th.

Joseph Vincent led the way for the Hardrockers. After shooting a round 1 76, he improved his second round by 8 strokes, to shoot a -3, 68, and 144 for the day, to sit in a tie for 18th.
Roger Nakagawa had a consistent two rounds, shooting 72 and 74 for a 146 36-hole total, and is sitting in the top 30 at t-28.
Jake Francis,
Braydon Jones, and
Carson McDaniel are also in the top 50, shooting 151, 151, and 153.

Supawich Boonta who shot 151, 155, and 162.
