RAPID CITY, S.D. --- On Friday and Saturday, the Hardrocker women's basketball team takes on UCCS and Regis, looking to gain some momentum to finish the season strong.
 
Series History
vs. Regis

• Regis has not lost to the Hardrockers in their 12 matchups since 2015.
• The Hardrockers are 0-6 on the road and 0-6 at home in the series.
• In December, Regis was victorious, 77-48.

vs. UCCS

• UCCS and the Hardrockers have met 15 times since 2016.
• The Hardrockers have a slight edge in the series, winning 8 of the matchups.
• South Dakota Mines has won three in a row, including the most recent matchup earlier this season, 80-72.
• Piper Bauer led the Hardrockers, scoring 22 in that contest.

Gold Nuggets

• From three-point range, the Hardrockers average 6.6 makes per game, fifth in the RMAC.
• The Hardrockers are in the middle of the pack in the conference, averaging 37.4 rebounds per game.

Regis

• Regis has had a strong season thus far, sitting at 16-6 overall and second in the RMAC at 13-3.
• The Rangers' strength is in their offense as they average 71.6 points per game (3rd RMAC) but are 10th in defense.
• They shoot 41% from the field, a heavy contributor to their successful offense.
• Erin Fry is one of the top scorers in the conference as she averages 15.5 points per game.
• Josey Ryan, Sam Deem, and Erin Stroberg also score in double figures for Regis.

UCCS

• The Mountain Lions are 7-9 in the RMAC with an overall record of 8-14 on the season.
• Defensively, UCCS limits opponents to 38.5% shooting from the field, and 28.5% from three-point range. Those marks are sixth-best and best in the league.
• On the glass, they average 39.2 rebounds per game, fourth in the RMAC.
• Maison White is their top offensive weapon, averaging 13.1 points per game.
• White also leads the RMAC in rebounding, averaging over 9 boards per game.
