BILLINGS, Mont. --- The Hardrocker golf teams were in Billings, Montana, competing in the Yellowjacket Fall Invite hosted by MSU Billings at Lake Hills Golf Course on Monday.
The South Dakota Mines women shot a phenomenal round, setting a school record by six strokes, shooting a 304. The Women also sit in a tie for first place with Chadron State after the combined score of +16.
All three of
Mya Maxwell,
Kenzie Schroeder, and RIanna Garland were great, shooting 74 (+2), 75 (+3), and 76 (+4) to sit in the top-six overall in the tournament. That team was rounded out with
Annika Schooler (t13, 79) and
Lora Ortega (t26, 84).
Another female team played as well with
Addiley Lloyd (t21, 82),
Allison Kahler (t28, 85),
Taylor Ullen (t33, 87), and
Kyra Allen (42nd, 91) combining to shoot a 345.
On the men's side, the two teams are sitting in eighth and ninth with
Joseph Vincent and
Alex Makarchuk the two standout performers with Vincent shooting a 72 and 71 for a 143 to sit in a tie for fifth. Makarchuk is sitting in a tie for 12th after matching 73s in the first two rounds. Everette Carrol (149),

Supawich Boonta (155),
Brycen Farris (155), and
Caeden Ekroth (157) all sit in the top-40 overall.
Tyler White (162), Bradyon Jones (163), and
Jack Sabetti (166) round out the Hardrockers men's teams.
