RAPID CITY, S.D. --- The South Dakota Mines men's basketball team has just one game this week as they head to Gunnison, Colorado for a 7:00 matchup with Western Colorado on Saturday.

- Keagen Smith had one of his best weekends of the season thus far, in part due to a season-best performance with 17 points and nine rebounds against Fort Lewis last Friday.
- On Saturday, in the Hardrocker victory over Adams State, Brevin Walter, Alejandro Rama, and Kolten Mortensen had good performances scoring 26, 22, and 17. Rama added six assists and five rebounds.
- Brevin Walter is third in the conference in scoring (21.9 points per game), but is first in RMAC play, averaging 27.3 points per game.
- Walter has also improved his rebounding rate during RMAC play, sitting in ninth, averaging 6.9 per game.
- Kolten Mortensen is one of the best shooters in the conference, hitting 52.4% from the field (9th RMAC), and 50.7% from three-point range (2nd RMAC).

- They have lost six in a row after splitting their first four games of the season.
- The Mountaineer offense is scoring 63.6 points per game, last in the RMAC.

- Robel Desta and Avery Rembao average 14.9 and 14.6 points per game to lead their offense.
