RAPID CITY, S.D. --- South Dakota Mines is back in action this weekend in Sioux Falls, S.D. They will compete in the Augustana Volleyball Classic Friday and Saturday. On Friday, the Hardrockers will face off against Truman State at 8:00 AM and Augustana University at 12:30 PM. Then on Saturday the Hardrockers will play Northern State University at 10:15 AM then finish the tournament against Minnesota State University Moorhead at 2:45 PM.

The Hardrockers finished the Yellowjacket Invitational last weekend with a 1-3 record. Their win came against the University of Mary three sets to one.

Series History

vs. Truman State

• This will be the first meeting between the two teams.

• Augustana holds a 4-0 record against the Hardrockers since 2013.

Truman State

• Jessica Proszenyak and Hanna Berry each have 42 points for the Bulldogs
• Berry on the year leads Truman with 36 kills, while Proszenyak and Annabelle Crowder each have 34.

MSU Moorhead

• The Dragons went 2-2 at the Yellowjacket Invite last week
• Bridget Witzmann has scored 72.5 points on the year with 62 kills.
• Emily Skalicky leads the Dragons with 8 aces

Augustana

• The Vikings start the 2022 season with a 4-0 record.
