Golf Tees Off Spring Season in Vegas

LAS VEGAS, Nev. --- The South Dakota Mines men's and women's golf teams will start the spring season at the Warrior Invite at Stallion Mountain Golf Club in Las Vegas, Nev. March 7-8.

The men's and women's golf teams are coming off a successful fall season in which they have the top scoring averages in school history. The men will carry a 302-team scoring average into the tournament, meanwhile, the women are at an average of 342.
 
This fall the men were led by senior Bryce Howard with a 74.50 scoring average and on the women's side, sophomore Annika Schooler has an 82.56 scoring average. The men will travel with 8 players and the women will have 7.
 
Traveling to Las Vegas will be Bryce Howard (74.50); Joseph Vincent (74.63); Jake Francis (78.50); Lane Jensen (78.80); Roger Nakagawa (77.50); Carson McDaniel (81.40); Brett Elkin (84.40); Braydon Jones (84.40). Women – Jessalyn Shipp (91.67); Annika Schooler (82.56); Rianna Garland (83.67); Mya Maxwell (90.33); Lora Ortega (93.67); Portia Lenczowski (93.11); Julia Sabetti (94.33).
