RAPID CITY, S.D. --- South Dakota Mines Athletics looks to interact with the Hardrocker student-athletes with a periodic video series. Under The Lights will focus on video interviews with current student-athletes with the goal of bringing their stories to the Rapid City community. With that goal in the forefront, the initial episode of Under The Lights focuses on co-founder and president of the Hardrocker Ally Association and defensive end for the South Dakota Mines football team, Kyante Christian.
 
Kyante grew up in Aurora, Colo. and grew up in a big family. Diversity and racial relations has held a big spot in his heart, with the culmination of it being the George Floyd incident, leading to him and a former teammate creating the Hardrocker Ally Association.
 
Under The Lights is a production of South Dakota Mines athletics and will be a regular addition to the growing Hardrocker Podcast Network and multimedia provided by the Athletic Communications department.
