Women's Basketball Looks to Build Off Win in Rivalry Week

RAPID CITY, S.D. --- The South Dakota Mines women's basketball team is looking to build off their most recent performance, a victory over Colorado Christian into rivalry week against Chadron State and Black Hills State.

FIVE THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW

1. South Dakota Mines has been one of the better three-point shooting teams in the RMAC all year, now sitting in fifth in the league, shooting 31.8% as a team and second in makes with 174.
2. Free throw percentage has been another season-long strength, as the Hardrockers hit 73.9% from the charity stripe to sit in fifth in the RMAC.
3. The Hardrockers sit in the middle of the pack in blocked shots with 2.67 per game.
4. In the win against Colorado Christian, the Hardrockers had a huge first quarter, outscoring the Cougars 22-8 and rode that to the 15-point victory.
5. The Hardrockers got three double-digit scorers and shot 47% from the field and from three in the game against Colorado Christian.
