RAPID CITY, S.D. --- The South Dakota Mines volleyball team will travel to Denver, Colo. to play against Regis University in the first round of the RMAC playoffs. The Hardrockers are going in as the 7th seed against Regis (2nd). This is the second time in the DII era that the Hardrockers qualified for the playoffs, but this will be the first time they get to play a postseason match with the other being forfeited due to COVID-19.
The Hardrockers enter the postseason with an 11-15 overall record and an 8-10 RMAC record. The RMAC tournament will be played at Metro State University Denver's campus. The Hardrockers match will begin at Noon on Thursday.

- The Rangers come into the RMAC postseason as the 2nd seed with a 20-6 overall record and 16-2 in the RMAC
- Overall, the Rangers are fourth in the conference with 17.27 points per set, 12.32 assists per set, and 13.46 kills per set.
- Mara LeGrand is third in the RMAC with 10.32 assists per set, while Halle Theis sits 10th with 3.02 kills per set.
