RAPID CITY, S.D. --- The South Dakota Mines men's basketball team hosts MSU Billings on Friday evening for a thanksgiving weekend matchup, followed by a non-conference matchup with Black Hills State on Monday.  
Tip-off on Friday is scheduled for 6:00 p.m., while Monday is scheduled for 7:30 against Black Hills State.

• After coming off of a great season last year, the Yellowjackets from Black Hills State are ranked sixth in the NABC coaches poll and 5^th in the D2SIDA men's basketball polls.
• They have gone unblemished so far this year, with a 5-0 start, including two victories over top-25 opponents and another over a team receiving votes.
• They are led by preseason All-American Joel Scott, who averages a near double-double, scoring 20.6 per game and grabbing 8.2 rebounds per game.
• He is by now means their only weapon, as Western Colorado transfer Matthew Ragsdale scores 15 per game and three other players score 9+ points per game.
• Adam Moussa averages 7 assists per game and 5.6 rebounds.
