FIVE THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW
1. The Hardrockers have been shorthanded of late but were still able to pick up a victory on the road at Chadron State.
2. As it has been all season, the Hardrockers shoot the ball well from three-point range, hitting 36.4% (5th RMAC) and 8.7 per game (4th RMAC).
3. Turnovers were a problem for much of the year, but over the last 7 games, they are turning it over just 12.1 times per game, a number that would be good for 6th in the league over the season.
4. South Dakota Mines strength has been on the defensive end, allowing 71.2 points per game (6th RMAC) on 43.7% percent shooting (6th RMAC).
5. South Dakota Mines got off to a really good start against Chadron State, taking a 22-8 lead in the first half, but Chadron State would fight back. The Hardrockers big three led them once again with
Kolten Mortensen scoring 20 and grabbing 11 boards,
Brevin Walter continuing his strong play of late putting in 15 and grabbing 8 rebounds, and
