COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. --- On Thursday afternoon, the RMAC selected and announced its' player of the week selections for golf.
Bryce Howard was nominated and selected as the men's golfer of the week after his performance in Billings, Montana at the Beartooth Invite.

Luke Wheeler is happy for Howard, stating "Bryce deserves this honor, he has been consistent all year long, and has played great."

Howard played well at the Beartooth Invite. In his two-round performance, he shot 145, shooting a 1-over 73 in round one, followed by an even-par 72 in round 2.
This is not only the first Golfer of the Week award for Howard, but this is the first RMAC Golfer of the Week award that South Dakota Mines has received, since it's entrance into the conference in 2014. "This a significant step in the growth of the program and where it is heading, we hope for many more of these awards in the future," said Coach Wheeler.Â
