Alamosa, Colo. --- Coming off of a tough homecoming contest against CSU-Pueblo, the Hardrockers are back at it on Saturday on the road, looking to end a 2-game losing streak and get back over .500.  
 
Series History

      vs. Adams State 

• This is a relatively new matchup, that began once South Dakota Mines became an official member of the RMAC.
• The two teams have met just four times in the past.
• The two teams have split the matchups, with a record of 2-2.
• South Dakota Mines won the first and third matchup.
• This has been a high-scoring series with there being an average of 90 points per game combined, with South Dakota Mines averaging 48.5 in the series.
• In the most recent matchup on 10/5/19, Adams State won a 37-32 contest at home on 10/19/2019.

Gold Nuggets

• The Hardrockers have been great on third down offensively, converting 27 of 58 for a percentage of 46.6, the second-best in the RMAC.
• When the offense gets to the Redzone, it usually converts, scoring at a rate of 81.3%, the fourth-best mark in the conference, with 11 of the 16 appearances resulting in 6 points.
• The offensive line has allowed just 5 sacks thus far on the season.
• Defensively, the Hardrockers have turned the opponent over 9 times.

• The Hardrockers boast three wide receivers in the top 12 in the RMAC in receptions. Colin Zur has 16, Jeremiah Bridges has 15, and Isaiah Eastman has 14, placing them in 8^th,9^th, and 10^th.

Scouting Report
     
    Adams State 

• Adams State has struggled out of the gates to an 0-4 start to the season.
• In their most recent contest, they were defeated by Black Hills State 51-48 in overtime.
• The Grizzlies have not been great on either side of the ball, currently sitting in 7^th in points scored per game, and 9^th in points allowed per game out of 10 teams.
• They do cause turnovers, however, as they have recorded a conference-leading 7 interceptions.
• Tyreik Campbell is their most dangerous weapon offensively, averaging 85.8 yards rushing per game, good for 6^th best in the RMAC.
• Elijah Harper has 18 receptions, a number that is good for 4^th best in the RMAC.
• Harper is also a dangerous kick returner, as he averages 37.6 yards per return, and has scored on a 91-yard return this year.
• A'brae Booker-Currin leads the defense with 34 tackles.
• Riley Trayer has 4 tackles for loss to lead the team and sit in 6^th in the RMAC.
• Byrce Hampton and Tommy Lujan have 2 interceptions each.

Looking Ahead
 
The Hardrockers come back home on Saturday, Oct. 9th, and take on Fort Lewis College for a noon kick-off at O'Harra Stadium.
