LAUREL, Mont. --- The South Dakota Mines golf teams are coming off of good performances at their home tournament at the Hardrocker Invite last week.

This week they are back at it on Monday and Tuesday in Laurel, Montana competing at the Montana State University Billings invite.

The men's first team took home a 3
rd place finish at the Hardrocker Invite with
Joseph Vincent,
Bryce Howard,
Roger Nakagawa,
Lane Jensen, and
Jake Francis all playing well, and hoping to continue to improve upon that performance.
The women also played well with the A-team finishing in 4
th, and the B-team finishing in 6
th.
Annika Schooler battled among the top of the leaderboard for the women throughout both rounds before finishing 6
th overall.
Rianna Garland shot the 2
nd best round 2 score of the entire field, shooting a 77.
Jessalyn Shipp,
Abby Magee, and
Mya Maxwell rounded out the first team, all recording top-35 finishes.

The men will play 36 holes on Monday and 18 on Tuesday. The women will play 18 holes on both days.
