SAN ANTONIO, TX. --- The South Dakota Mines men's soccer team faced off with St. Mary's University on Saturday afternoon to finish their Texas road trip.

The Hardrockers started early with a goal in the second minute from
George Martinez on a
Philip Leano assist.

From there it would be all St. Mary's as they responded with a 10
th minute goal to tie the game. The two teams would go into the locker room squared up at 1.

St Mary's would score in the 51
st and 64
th minute to win the game 3-1.

Tyler Ring had 6 saves for a second consecutive game. St. Mary's outshot South Dakota Mines 23 (9) – 4 (3).

On Sept. 15 the Hardrockers are back at home taking on Montana State University Billing at 4:00 p.m. at Dakota Fields.
