ABERDEEN, S.D. --- The Hardrockers were heading into the third day, and final match of the Northern State Classic, having won the first three matches, including a win over the #19 Northern State Wolves. The opponent in this match was Augustana, another tough NSIC opponent. This time, the Hardrockers could not keep up and fell in four sets.
The first two sets were battles, with neither team getting out to big runs, and both answering each other, point for point. The Vikings would take the first set, and the Hardrockers would take the second.
From that point on, it was all Augustana as they were in control throughout sets 3, and 4, winning them both by scores of 25-18, and 25-15, and taking the match 3-1.Â
