Rapid City, SD --- In the first half, the Hardrockers and Griffins exchanged leads seven times in the 20 minutes of play during a Rocky Moutnain Athletic Conference bout at the King Center in Rapid City, south Dakota. The 'Rockers led as much as seven points early on, but unfortunetly for the home team, the Griffins stormed back and went on 10-0 run to pull ahead and lead 31-24 at the half.
In the second half the Griffins took control of the game and never looked back. On the night Westminster shot 48.3% as a team from the floor. The Griffins outscored the Hardrockers 37-24 in the second half to take the game 68-48.
Leading the way for the 'Rockers was Brevin Walter with 15 points, while Kolten Mortensen scored 13 and Alejandro Rama added 10. The Griffins had nine players score with Reme Torbert scoring 15 to lead Westminster.
The Hardrockers now stand at 7-7 overall and in the conference play. The Griffins snapped a five game losing streak to bring their record to 6-7 overall and in the RMAC.
