RAPID CITY, S.D. – The South Dakota Mines women's volleyball team is set to host a three-team pod Saturday at the King Center in Rapid City. The Hardrockers will welcome Fort Lewis College and No. 5 ranked Colorado Mesa.
South Dakota Mines will open the pod with a match against the FLC Skyhawks at 11 a.m., followed by Fort Lewis College and Colorado Mesa taking on each other at 2 p.m. and then The Mavericks will face the Hardrockers at 5 p.m.
The 'Rockers are still hunting for their first win of the season. They have come up short to Chadron State in a non-conference match and also dropped matches to (at the time) No. 16 ranked Colorado School of Mines and No. 17 ranked Regis University.
Fort Lewis comes to town with a 3-3 record and have quite the feather in their caps as they just defeated No. 22 ranked UCCS. They also have wins over Westminster College and Adams State.
Colorado Mesa is a perfect 5-0 on the season and boast a No. 5 national ranking for Saturday's matches.
All matches will be streamed live on the Hardrocker Network by logging onto
