Box Score RAPID CITY, S.D. --- The South Dakota Mines volleyball team dropped their first home match of the year to the No. 17 Regis University Rangers in straight sets (25-22; 25-12;25-18) on a cold Friday night in Goodell Gymnasium.
The Rangers had 39 kills to the Hardrockers 26. Regis was led by Caitlyn Burroway with 10 kills.
Jacey Koethe had 8 kills while
Shyann Bastian finished with 6 kills and 2 blocks.
Chelsea Brewster led the way with 7 digs while
Anna Thomas and
Claire Smith each had 6 digs.
The loss drops the Hardrockers to 0-3 overall and 0-2 in the RMAC. The 'Rockers are back on the court next Saturday with a double header against Ft Lewis College and Colorado Mesa University.
